Joule officiated at the funeral I attended after the sudden tragic death of a young man. She oversaw proceedings with humanity, compassion and sensitivity, adding a gentle humour where appropriate. Her role was also made more challenging by the fact that there were several contributors to the service but Joule handled this seamlessly with considerable professionalism and aplomb.
It was obvious that she had to spend a lot of time with the relatives, ensuring that the tone reflected the life of the deceased exactly in the manner that the family wanted.
I found Joule's work to be very impressive on this difficult, emotionally charged occasion.
